How to recover Kiwify sales via WhatsApp

How to recover Kiwify sales via WhatsApp

Kiwify doesn't recover your sales

Kiwify is one of the most popular platforms among digital creators in Brazil. Fast checkout, good conversion, clean interface. But it has a gap that costs money to anyone selling on it every day.

There's no automatic sales recovery built into it.

When someone abandons checkout, generates a Pix and doesn't pay, or has their card declined, what does the platform do? Nothing. The sale simply stays stuck, waiting for you to act manually.

And most people don't act. Not for lack of willingness, but because following up with each lead individually doesn't scale.

That's exactly where Claryflow comes in.

How you can automate your Kiwify sales

Claryflow connects to Kiwify via webhook and can identify three critical moments in your lead's buying journey:

1. Abandoned checkout

The lead landed on your sales page, filled in their details, and left without finishing. This is the hottest lead there is, they were ready to buy. Follow-up at the right timing brings a good share of them back.

2. Pix generated, not paid

The lead generated the Pix code but never completed the payment. Sometimes they forgot, sometimes they had a doubt, sometimes they just needed a reminder. With automation, you reach that person before the Pix expires.

3. Declined payment

A declined card doesn't mean they gave up. Most of the time, the lead still wants to buy. What's missing is a message at the right moment, with an alternative link or simple guidance to try again.

These three events, once automated, represent a layer of revenue that was already in your funnel and you simply weren't collecting it.

How the Kiwify + Claryflow integration works

The setup is done once and works permanently from then on. You don't need to be technical for this.

Step 1: Create your Claryflow account

Go to claryflow.com and start your 3-day free trial. A card is required to sign up, but there's no charge during the trial.

Step 2: Connect your WhatsApp number

Inside the platform, you connect your number via the WhatsApp Official API, the same process as connecting a QR Code app, but via API, which means your number operates with much lower block risk.

Step 3: Set up the Kiwify webhook

In your Kiwify account, go to the webhook settings and paste the URL generated by Claryflow. From then on, every sales event (abandonment, Pix generated, payment declined) is automatically sent to Claryflow in real time.

Step 4: Create your automations

In the Claryflow dashboard, you set your custom message, add a delay, and can add more than one message to the flow.

Example of a WhatsApp sales recovery flow

How to build a recovery flow in practice

Below is an example of a working flow for abandoned checkout. You can adapt it to your product and tone.

Message 1 — sent 20 minutes after abandonment:

Hi, [Name]. I saw you started signing up for [Product Name] but didn't finish. If you had a question or ran into a payment issue, just let me know here and I'll help. 👇 Your link is saved: [checkout link]

Message 2 — sent 3 hours later (if they haven't bought):

[Name], access to [Product Name] is still available for you. If you need another payment method or have any questions, just reply here.

Simple, direct, no pressure. This kind of flow, running automatically in the background, recovers sales that would otherwise be gone, with no manual work on your part.

Who should use this integration

If you sell a digital product on Kiwify and don't have active recovery automation yet, this integration is for you. Especially if:

  • You run launches and get a high volume of leads in a short time
  • You run traffic directly
  • You have an evergreen product
  • You have Pix payments expiring unpaid every day
  • You've already lost sales from not being able to keep up with manual follow-up
  • You want to scale without depending on replying to messages one by one

Is it worth trying?

If you sell on Kiwify and don't have any recovery automation active yet, the direct answer is: yes.

Not because the tool is perfect for every kind of business, but because the problem it solves already exists in your operation today. Checkouts get abandoned. Pix codes expire. Cards get declined. This happens regardless of the platform you use, and ignoring these events means leaving money stuck in the funnel.

Claryflow has a completely free trial, more than enough time to connect Kiwify, set up a flow, and see if it makes sense for your volume. If it doesn't, you cancel before any charge. If it does, you'll already have real recovery data to decide whether to continue.

Support is available via WhatsApp and Google Meet, so if you get stuck on any setup step, there's someone available to genuinely help.

FAQ

Does Kiwify have native sales recovery automation?

No. Kiwify doesn't offer native WhatsApp sales recovery automation. The platform processes payments and manages product access, but doesn't send automatic messages to leads who abandoned checkout, generated an unpaid Pix, or had their card declined. To enable this kind of automation, you need to integrate Kiwify with an external tool via webhook.

How do you integrate Kiwify with WhatsApp for sales recovery?

The integration is done via webhook, no code required. Kiwify lets you configure webhook URLs in the account settings, which sends sales events in real time to external tools. A WhatsApp automation platform receives these events and automatically sends messages to the lead based on the event type: abandoned checkout, unpaid Pix, or declined payment.

How does recovering an unpaid Pix work on Kiwify?

When a buyer chooses to pay via Pix, Kiwify generates the code but doesn't guarantee the payment will be completed. Via webhook, the event is sent to the automation tool, which sends a reminder to the lead before the code expires. Ideally, the first message should go out within 15 minutes of the Pix being generated, the window when the lead's buying intent is still active.

Does Claryflow work with Kiwify?

Yes. Claryflow integrates with Kiwify via webhook and lets you automate recovery of abandoned checkouts, unpaid Pix and declined payments directly through WhatsApp. The setup is done once, through a visual interface, no code. Claryflow also integrates with Hotmart and Hubla.
